Entering the ‘Xmas time in 2015, (un)known feelings arose. They consisted of a vague desire of making the point of the yearly art/life in love, family and profession. I was also longing for a dialogue with relatives and close (art)friends worldwide. I needed a concrete approach and to search deep in my heART. 2015 has been scarce of performances in proper venues but so rich in many other ways. At my disposal I had blank cards in the colours of the Sea, the love for calligraphy, a sense of gratitude to express. Gradually, but decisively, it all took shape in a unexpected Advent Calendar to share: pop-up cards, booklets (44 “LC: a grateful memory of/for Letizia Comba”, 22 in English and 22 in Italian), letters and such. Each one of the item and/or combination was thought for a different addressee, composing a unique concerted piece to let it travel. Due to the cheaper postage rates, most of the correspondance was sent on December 19th, from Šempeter in Slovenia, just past Basaglia’s Park in Gorizia, the former Asylum that I well know since the Sixties! The story has left me with a sense of magic completeness in dinamic evolution. It continues with e-mail responses and in other remote ways suitable for heart recordings, somewhere.
