PROPOSAL. The Northern Lagoon of Venice is something fascinating and unique in Europe. A place where humans still care about and shape a habitat suspended between sea and heaven. A body of water the boundaries of which are not so easy to define. Like those of performance art so often misunderstood and improperly used in various contexts. So, an interesting and unpredictable fusion, inspired both by the uniqueness of the Place and by the unique and lively emotions that the performers feel and express once there. Together they renew the chance of a joint practice, in harmony with Nature and aware of its prevalence over human action. An Act of Mother Earth with which artists tune in. To be revealed in brand new ways. GDL

FACTS (Brief review, book ongoing). What a bEAUtiful and surprising fluxus happening at the Jujube Festival in Lio Piccolo, enjoying good vibes and good times, reading poems in front of the flamingos, performing at the Punta Sabbioni where Mose dam stops the Adriatic Sea intruding into the Lagoon, or at the Cavallino viewpoint, proudly holding the ensigns of the red winged Lio(n) of Saint Mark emblem of the Biennale. Great to search (and found) connections with the star-shaped Venetian city of Palmanova or to twin with the Frisian Islands’ perimeter which equally protects the German coasts from the exhuberance of the Nordsee!
